Kabeltester CT12 mit PC

The new Tester generation from TSK

The Cable Tester CT12 together with the CT11 is the first tester whose technique is completely based on internet-technology. Equipped with an integrated web-server, it is simple and comfortable to operate during the programming of test programs. All information can be found in the tester's memory and is displayed accordingly, for both presentation and editing in the browser of PC or notebook. No restrictions exist for PC/notebooks, operating systems or browsers, as no additional software or installation is required.
No PC/notebook is necessary for testing on the CT12; the tester is operated via a button (start/stop). The large-sized seven digits display and LED signals for power, error and OK relate all necessary information to the operator.  Since every CT12 has an individual IP-address, creating networks including many CT12 devices are possible. A central PC/notebook takes over the test systems' programming and displays the production statistics of all connected CT12 devices. The implemented network technology also makes mobile applications via an access-point with WLAN reality. Beyond that, the local network no longer has limitations in reference to crosslinking; globally operated CT12 devices can be addressed via DSL.

The testing of electrical connections takes place via precise, analog readings on the switching matrix with 128 test points. As a feature, LED displays can also be connected to the switching matrix, which visualizes errors for the operator's convenience. Since many SPS-compatible input and outputs are available, a simple integration to other systems is given. The RS 232 interface ensures the backup of the test monitoring results on a label printer.
Through its simple orientation and network-capability, the CT12 is also extremely suitable for incidental applications and outsourced manufacture respectively telework.

Areas of Application

In particular, CT12 can be implemented in manufacture and the examination of basic wire harnesses with up to 128 points of contact within the areas of automotive as well as white, brown and red goods.
