Door Panel Test
Testing the existence before further installation is also required for passive assemblies of components. Sensors at defined positions query the correct installation of clips or screws found in the interior door panels.
In this case, it concerns final installation work on interior door panels that are clamped on a frame and through this constant position; the correct position of all assemblies can be tested. A programmable controller ensures the test sequence and its evaluation upon completion. The user is notified of the results either via a display or via LEDs.
At the same time, the user carries out another visual test of the components at the ergonomic-oriented workplace. An optimal illumination level of the workplace is an important prerequisite to be able to identify damages to the casing or any scratches on plastic surfaces.
Test Tasks
- Testing of the correct position of passive assemblies
- Control of outer damages (visual inspection)
- Inspection of actuators and sensors through function tests (option)
Areas of Application
For manufacturers of vehicle components (interior door panels) primarily in the automotive supplier industry; but also for suppliers and outfitters in the aviation industry or in wagon construction.
Variants, Options
NO function tests are carried out on this test system. However, through extensions such as function testers, PC, monitor and testing software as well as with the suitable adaptation, the possibility exists of carrying out function tests on electrical and mechanical components in interior door panels.
